#Champs2019: Edwin Allen, Calabar win Class two 4X100m

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Edwin Allen High and Calabar won the boys’ and girls’ Class two 4X100m relays at the 109th ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’and Girls’Athletic Championships underway at the National Stadium.

Edwin Allen won their section in 45.27s, fending off the challenge of Hydel (45.29s) with Excelsior (45.33s), closing well in lane eight for a medal.

Calabar then swept through on anchor to score in 41.41 ahead of Wolmer’s (41.58s) and Jamaica College (41.78s), as Kingston College’s second leg runner pulled up with an injury.
