Ozzie Turns 60!

Friday Social

A product of the garden parish, paediatrician Dr Osmond Tomlinson ushered in his 60th birthday on Friday, March 22. The following day, he and his wife Anna-Kay invited guests to a hilltop bash at Murphy Hill in St Ann for a day party dubbed “Ozzie’s 60th”.

Tomlinson, of Miss T’s Kitchen fame, planned, catered and executed the three-pronged shindig for the fellow Arians celebrating with her love sponge Ozzie: their son Liam, and good friend Lucy Salm, Smatt’s Jamaica Rum manager. Together, the Tomlinsons welcomed guests to Murphy Hill, Beecher Town, the new location for Miss T’s Kitchen (to be named Miss T’s @ Murphy Hill). They later opened the food court and provided vegan and non-vegan home-cooked fare for the scores of guests who showed up.

Brian Roper, Beaches Ocho Rios Hotel general manager held very little back as he raised a toast to his long-time friend Dr Oz before leading the cake-cutting.

Formalities aside, guests enjoyed the crisp air and music from the hitman DJ Craig Ross, which kept them on the dance floor into the wee hours.
