Juliet Holness addresses the handover ceremony for 50 laptops and 50 tablets donated by the Fort Lauderdale-based charity, Visions International Ministries, in the United States, on March 27 at the Four Square Gospel Church on Cassia Park Road in Kingston. The devices were distributed to 12 early childhood, preparatory, primary and secondary schools across the island, as well as the State-run children's home, Glenhope Place of Safety.

PM Holness, wife to open science lab at St Catherine High School
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Alumni of St Catherine High School, Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Member of Parliament Juliet Holness will officially open the school’s renovated science lab next week.
Renovation of the now state-of-the-art lab is part of the Digicel Foundation’s ongoing support of science education in Jamaica.
The Foundation has so far equipped 11 high school science labs and provided 44 mobile science labs to high schools islandwide, according to a Digicel release.
The opening ceremony will also be attended by Acting Chief Education Officer, Ministry of Education, Youth and Information Winnie Ann Berry, and CEO, Digicel Jamaica, Justin Morin.
