Irie Kreshna banks on Bhingy Trance
Reggae singer Irie Kreshna is anticipating his big break with his latest single Bhingy Trance .
Released on April 26, Bhingy Trance is on the Ozy Records imprint.
“This song is designed to have the listener holding a natural high under the melodic harmonies and a Rastaman’s true vibration,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
Irie Kreshna (given name Kreshna Jones) grew up in Portsmouth in Portmore, St Catherine.
He attended St George’s College before completing his formal tertiary education at Edna Manley School of the Visual and Performing Arts where he sang and performed on the school’s choir.
“I am an artiste with something universal to say. Like the Hindu God of Love, I want people to fall into this Bhingy‘ s Trance,” he said.
Irie Kreshna performed recently at an event called Kingston Night Market where his vocal stylings were met with sustained cheers from the crowd.
He has plans to shoot a music video for the project in the near future.
