Policeman killed in Clarendon crash
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has been plunged into mourning following the death of a policeman in a motor vehicle crash along the May Pen leg of the PJ Patterson Highway in Clarendon this morning.
The cop has been identified as 33-year-old Clive Wedderburn of New Harbour Village, Old Harbour, St Catherine. Constable Wedderburn was assigned to the Clarendon Division.
Reports are that Wedderburn was driving a Toyota Corolla motor car in an easterly direction, about 12:05 am, when he allegedly collided in the back of a motor truck. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
