ZJ Nova set to drench patrons
In a male dominated industry, female promoter ZJ Nova says Drenchhed has been a growing success over the years.
“I wouldn’t say it has been difficult to pull the crowd because the party came about the right time, with the right momentum and has grown so much over the years that people just come because it’s the party that basically kicks off the summer for them,” she told the Jamaica Observer. “Drenchhed is all about high-energy partying and to have fun while doing it. Once you ‘get drenched, it’s going to be one of the most memorable party experiences you’ve ever had.”
The seventh staging of the event will be held on July 7 at Roye’s Plaza in Junction, St Elizabeth.
“Ticket sales have been going really well so I’d advise anyone who hasn’t purchased their ticket to do so now before they are all gone,” she said.
ZJ Nova, given name Chantele Roye, has partnered with J Wray and Nephew to make this year’s staging bigger and better.
“Wray and Nephew is on board as our title sponsor and we are going to go big. I won’t give away all the information and ruin the surprise but there will be bucket deals and the first 100 patrons will get branded memorabilia so it’s best to get there early,” she explained.
Partygoers who opt for a VIP experience have lots to look forward to.
“Apart from the water and foam aspect of the event, there’s also a VIP area to cater for those patrons who want to have fun but not get wet. This elevated area will be food inclusive with a wide range of options to choose from,” she said.
Alongside Nova, other deejays to provide entertainment will be Nicco, Kurt Riley, Ratty & Bones, Johnny Kool and Disco Neil from Miami.
