Water woes hit sections of Hanover, Westmoreland
THE National Water Commission (NWC) has apologised to customers served by the Copse Relift in Hanover and the Petersville Deepwell in Westmoreland for the continued disruption in their water supply, due to electro-mechanical challenges.
“The maintenance team is working assiduously to resolve the challenges and restore water to the areas served by Copse, by Wednesday, July 10, 2019 and to the areas served by Petersville by Friday, July 26, 2019,” a release from the NWC said.
Areas affected in Hanover include Copse, Friendship, Eden and Lethe.
And areas affected in Westmoreland include Petersville, Coco Walk, Well Road, Long Hill and Fustic Road.
“The NWC regrets any inconvenience caused and craves the patience and understanding of its valued customers,” said the NWC
