The I’msatisfied Trophy is the feature race on tomorrow’s 9-race programme at Caymanas Park.

Seven runners are down to take part in this Restricted Allowance event for three-year-old non-winners of two and for imported maidens.

Many of the seven entered will be using this race as preparation outlet for the upcoming final Classic race of the season, the 10-furlong Jamaica St Leger, which is down for competition on Saturday, July 27.

The I’msatisfied will be run at the same distance as the St Leger.

The Supreme Racing Guide analyses the runners and their chances of walking away with the major share of the $900,000 purse on offer by the promoting company in order of their post-positions.

ENVISAGED: (3-y-o gr. f – Fearless Vision – Alpha Lupa) – Last raced on May 4 in the fillies only Jamaica Oaks and finished in fifth place by 8 ¾ lengths behind Princess Annie and Princess Ava over 10 furlongs. Envisaged shows a distinct likeness for the longer distances and will therefore be quite at home running the two turns of this 10-furlong encounter. She may, however, find it extremely difficult handling the “boys” especially her stablemate, Tricky One. Yet, Envisaged will be toiling and may earn well in this one.

TRICKY ONE: (3-y-o b. c – Casual Trick – The Golden One) – Very consistent throughout the Classic series of races. Tricky One was sixth by 6 ¾ lengths in the 2,000 Guineas on April 14 and third by 8 lengths in the Jamaica Derby on June 30. Both these races were won by stable companion Supreme Soul. Tricky One represents the class of this race and based on his efforts thus far, looks all set to lay down his hands here. He is ripe for the distance, which is an effective prep as Tricky One moves towards participation in the Jamaica St Leger. Very difficult for Tricky One to lose this one.

SIR IAN LINKS: (3-y-o dkb. g – Natural Selection – Cliffy’s Choice) – After his maiden win, Sir Ian Links jumped straight in the Jamaica Derby and was beaten into sixth place by 32 lengths. He is not going to have a problem competing against these with the notable exception of Tricky One. Should earn for his connections but taking home the winners’ share of the purse is not on Sir Ian Links’ agenda tomorrow.

SALAH: (3-y-o ch.c – Traditional – Anna) – Released the maiden tag on June 30 over one mile (1,600m), winning by 1 ½ lengths in a time of 1:43.1. Salah will have to improve a lot and run out of skin if he is to be competitive here. Needs time to learn how to deal with this non-winners of two level.

BLACK RIVER: (3-y-o dkb/br. f – Storm Craft – She Sell Off) – Capable runner who was just beaten by Big Bang over 8 ½ furlongs (1,700m) on June 30. Black River led in that race and was just caught on the wire, losing by half-a-length. Black River is expected to figure on the lead again and should do herself justice but justice will be all, as winning is going to prove very difficult, yet again, being probably the only real pace in the race, Black River may well flow.

CRIMSON: (3-y-o b.g – Nuclear Wayne – Sarah Barracuda) – A very interesting entry. Crimson came off a break and slammed rivals by 6 ¼ lengths over 6 furlongs (1,200m) on June 5. He returned 17 days later going 7 furlongs (1,400m) and was expected to put rivals in their place, but failed and finished in second position by 2 ¼ lengths behind Action Run. He seems to be a late developing three-year-old who can offer his trainer and owner much more but moving from seven furlongs to 10 is going to be a stretch for Crimson, as he will have to find more if winning is at all possible. Crimson will have to wait to win his second race.

CHINAMAX: (3-y-o ch. c – Itsmyluckyday – Aweemaway) – Has yet to figure on local soil and that is going to remain true to form after this trophy race is completed.

CONCLUSION – The I’msatisfied should be as they often say in horse racing jargon, a walk in the park for Tricky One, jockey Anthony Thomas, trainer Anthony Nunes and owner Joseph Lewars. Indeed, the Anthonys have it signed, sealed and delivered.
