Nick Cannon says marriage wasn’t designed for him
Now that he has divorced singer Mariah Carey, American
entertainer Nick Cannon is insisting that marriage isn’t for him.
In a discussion on TI’s podcast called ExpediTIously, Nick shared some very unpopular opinions about marriage.
The entertainer said that the split from Mariah Carey had nothing to do with infidelity.
“The reason why we split up, ithad nothing to do with infidelity or anything like that. I knew I would neverget married again once I stepped away from that. That construct is not designedfor me,” he said, admitting that he only got married because it was ‘MariahCarey’.
Nick went even further when asked about polyamorous
dating.
“I got ‘lonesome’ tattooed on my neck, I’m
good,” he said.
Nick and Mariah got married in 2008, and their
marriage ended in 2014. However, the divorce wasn’t finalised until 2016. The
two share twins, Monroe and Moroccan Scott.
