Operational issues again disrupt water supply in Duhaney Park
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Residents in Duhaney Park and surrounding areas in St Andrew are again without water due to what the National Water Commission (NWC) says are operational challenges facing the organisation.
The community, which was without water for several days, had its supply restored for a period of time yesterday following a protest by the residents.

However, the NWC this morning said subsequent issues have caused a further disruption of water supply in the area but its team is working to resolve the matter by this evening.
The commission said it will also explore providing trucked water to the affected areas, which include: sections of Duhaney Park including Baldwin Crescent and all roads leading off, Hemmingway Drive, Sherlock Crescent, Chaucer Avenue, Brooke Avenue and Sections of Patrick City to include Padua Drive and surrounding areas
Meanwhile, in Meadowbrook Estate, customers are being advised that a broken main along Bombay Avenue is now affecting water supply to their community.
The NWC estimates that the necessary repairs will also be completed by this evening.
