Doha 2019: Andre Ewers disqualified after finishing 4th in 200m
DOHA, Qatar — Jamaica’s Andre Ewers has been disqualified from the men’s 200m at the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Ewers finished fourth in the seventh and final heat in the qualifying round.
That race was won by Jereem Richards of Trinidad and Tobago, who clocked 20.23s after closing in on the USA’s Noah Lyles, the fastest man over the distance this year. Lyles finished in 20.26s
Third was Canada’s Brendon Rodney in 20.38s.
