Congratulations!
Adrian Rhoden (centre) of Cornwall College is the recipient of the Gerald Chambers Scholarship for the 2019-20 school year and was presented with his award at school on Monday. The award is made in honour of the late Cornwallian and chairman of the school board who passed away in 2014. Two other students, Jinori Wilson (second left) and Jadon Hewit were also presented with bursaries from the Kingston Chapter of the Cornwall College Old Boys’ Association by President Patrick Thompson (left), while Stephen Jennings, president of the Cornwall College Old Boys’ Association, represented the school. The bursaries are made to students entering sixth form who have shown academic excellence based on their Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate grades. Rhoden was the salutatorian and Wilson the valedictorian at the school’s recent valedictory service, while Hewitt is the Students’ Council president. (Photo: Paul Reid)
