KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is advising patrons who will be attending the CONCACAF Nations League match today at the National Stadium that the following items will not be allowed inside the National Stadium:

•             Firearms

•             Explosives

•             Drugs

•             Offensive weapons

•             Walking stick-type umbrellas

•             Flags with sharp poles /sticks

•             Selfie sticks

•             Cigarettes

•             Lighters

•             Glass bottles

•             Frozen water and beverages

•             Large water cooler (igloo)

•             Aerosol sprays

•             Firecrackers

The police also said concessionaires should provide cups and ice when necessary to facilitate the serving of beverages to patrons, as beverages in sealed bottles is prohibited.

Failure to adhere to stipulations outlined in the contracts of concessionaires/vendors will attract the necessary sanctions.

Meanwhile, no smoking will be allowed inside the venue and individuals found in breach may be asked to leave the stadium. Also, the walkways should be kept clear at all times in cases of emergency.

Licensed firearm holders are being advised to make alternative arrangements for the safekeeping of their firearms, as no provisions will be made at the venue or at the Stadium Police Station.

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is also reminding match goers that throwing of objects is not allowed and spectators should not go onto the field before, during or after the game.

The match between Jamaica and Aruba is set to begin at 5:00 pm, but gates will open at 3:00 pm.

The JFF is urging patrons to abide by the directions of the JCF, who will be directing traffic, giving directions on parking and facilitating access to the venue.
