Stifling in uncollected garbage
Dear Editor,
Cooper’s Hill area has been stifling in uncollected garbage for almost eight weeks. At the same time, we are being duly warned that the Anti-litter law is going to bite us real hot if we are caught dumping garbage.
It has been so long that when the truck eventually comes, it had better have plenty of gas and overtime pay for the many trips it will take to collect the accumulated excess of garbage from each house.
What are we supposed to do with it? This is the worst, the very worst that the lack of service has ever been in my 70 years of living here.
What has Jamaica become?
