St Ann bus conductor charged with robbery, illegal possession of firearm
ST ANN, Jamaica — The police have arrested 21-year-old Marlon Cunningham who is accused of robbing three students at gunpoint in Browns Town, St Ann on Thursday, October 3.
Cunningham, a bus conductor of Cave Valley and York Castle Drive in the parish, was charged on Thursday, October 24.
According to the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) the students were walking on a footpath at approximately 7:00 pm when they were held up and robbed at gunpoint by Cunningham.
He was arrested during a police operation on October 10.
Cunningham was then placed on an identification parade and subsequently charged with robbery with aggravation and Illegal possession of firearm after he was pointed out by the complainants.
He is scheduled to appear before the St Ann Parish Court on Monday, October 28.
