American

gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard has pulled out of another concert, her second

in a year.

The artiste, who is known for songs such as Break Every Chain and For Your Glory, cancelled her performance at the Break Every Chain Gospel Concert in Grenada, which was scheduled to be held today, October 26. It is said that she pulled out of the event two weeks ago.

Grenadian

promoter Steve Duncan of Q West Inc has contacted legal counsel in New York,

where all contracts were issued to represent his company’s interest.

It’s

understood that Cobbs Leonard was paid a deposit and travel expenses, but an

email from her management team indicated less than two weeks ago, that they

will have to cancel the performance.

Q-West Inc.

is suing the artiste for an undisclosed sum of money, for breach of contract,

huge financial losses and damage to his reputation.

Leonard’s cancellation has reportedly left thousands of her fans and ticket

holders disappointed, and the organisers grappling with hundreds of thousands

of dollars in losses.

Duncan is

also the promoter of the popular Grenada Music Festival.

Leonard has charted three albums on the Billboard 200 albums chart, namely One

Place: Live (number 28 in 2015), Heart. Passion. Pursuit. (number 35

in 2017) and Grace (EP) which peaked at number 61 in 2013.

She has

charted 20 titles on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart, including four

number ones. They include For Your Glory and I’m Getting Ready

featuring rapper Nicki Minaj.

Cobbs

Leonard performed in Jamaica in August at the Unity in the City concert. Last

year she was billed for the same event, but she withdrew at the last minute.
