Richie Spice, I Wayne set to add Signature
RICHIE Spice and I Wayne are headliners for tonight’s staging of Appleton Estate Signature Nights at Sharkies Seafood Restaurant in Runaway Bay, St Ann. Show time is slated for 9:00 pm.
Both acts said they are eager to share their classics-filled catalogue with the St Ann crowd.
“Since I was a little youth growing up I love reggae music, and you know, there are a lot of my relatives who are also in the music fraternity,” said Richie Spice, whose siblings are Spanner Bonner and Pliers.
“Music is life and with reggae music, all you are getting is positivity. This music is the heartbeat of the people. They are what I am looking forward to the most, to see the great vibe of the audience,” said I Wayne. “Appleton Estate [Signature Nights] is supporting the music, you know, and we will always support those who support reggae.”
Since the start of the series acts including Romain Virgo, Tarrus Riley, Christopher Martin, Konshens, and Bugle have graced the stage. However, it’s the first time two ambassadors of reggae music will be sharing their music at this event.
Richie Spice (given name Richell Bonner) is known for songs including Earth A Run Red, Youth Dem Cold, and Groovin My Girl.
I Wayne’s (given name Cliffroy Taylor) popular songs are Life Seeds, Living in Love, and Can’t Satisfy Her.
