Jamaica Medical Foundation’s evening of wine, fashion and art was a blast

The Jamaica Medical Foundation hosted an evening of wine, fashion, and art at the AC Marriott hotel on Thursday that appealed to all tastes.

The event presented doctors, and other professionals a good excuse to pick up some art pieces from renowned Jamaican artists such as Barrington Watson, Phyll Williams, and Shawn Asham while indulging in a fine selection of wines.

Models strutted carefully curated pieces from Flirt boutique, gorgeous gowns from Uzuri International, and designers, Max Brown, Courtney Washington, and Keena Linton.

Guests were treated to performances from violinist and medical doctor, Dr Jessica Yap, and singjay Alaine.

Chairman of the Foundation, Micheal Frazer told BUZZ that he hoped to raise 3 million dollars from the event. “We will be raising funds for the pediatric oncology unit at the University of the West Indies, and other half will be going to the urology department down at KPH,” he said.
