Herbert Morrison, Holland put unbeaten records on the line
RHODES HALL, Trelawny — Defending champions Herbert Morrison Technical and Holland High will put their unbeaten records on the line today in the ISSA Western Conference Boys Basketball Competition.
Herbert Morrison Technical will be seeking a fourthstraight win in the Under-19 section when they take on Rhodes Hall High at Rhodes Hall starting at 3:00 pm, while Holland will also be seeking a fourth win when they take on Muschett High in an Under-16 game at Holland High, starting at 1:30 pm.
Holland High and Muschett High will also meet in the Under-19 section, both seeking to break losing streaks.
On Monday, Cornwall College got back-to-back wins in both sections for the first time this season, when they beat William Knibb in both games of their double-header, while St James High won their third-straight, beating York Castle to stay on top in the Under-16 age group.
St James High are on nine points from five games, two more than Cornwall College who have played four games followed by Herbert Morrison and Holland who have both played just three games, as well as York Castle and William Knibb, all on six points; Muschett High are on five points, Irwin High have three points and Frome Technical two.
William Knibb, on eight points from five games, lead the Under-19 section despite consecutive losses, while Herbert Morrison and York Castle are two points back on six each.
Rhodes Hall, Holland High and Cornwall College are on five points each, while Irwin High are on four points and Muschett on two.
