St James police find firearm in unfinished building

ST JAMES, Jamaica— The police say they found a Glock pistol with an empty magazine during a joint police/military operation in Providence, St James yesterday.

Lawmen said that about 2:30 pm, during the operation, the team conducted a search on an unfinished building and the firearm was found in a plastic bag.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
