India honours three at 74th anniversary ceremony
India marked its 74th Independence Day celebrations with a condensed ceremony on Saturday at India House in St Andrew, where India’s High Commission in Jamaica honoured three members of its community for outstanding service to Jamaica.
The flag-hoisting ceremony began precisely at 8:55 am, and the event also included a message from Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, as well as Indian cultural presentations.
