Stripes are the print of the summer, and Rock-blooded fashion designer Samantha Black certainly makes a case for the trend with her multi-coloured stripe pant set that has made its way to Hollywood via Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union-Wade.
From bold stripes to dizzying tiny lines Black’s women’s ready-to-wear clothing line has patterns that are poised to take over Instagram feeds.
While her previous offerings boast muted tones, this season’s stripes feel like a wave of nostalgia as bold and bright lines of all colours of the rainbow take centre stage.
And Black is in good company as several other designers including Stine Goya and Christopher John Rogers have adopted the trend.
Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) suggests going for bold with a stripe-on-stripe look, or work it in with more subdued separates.
