Izzizi sets sights on Portland
Relatively new player in Jamaica’s gaming sector, Izizzi Games has started to set its sights on the rural parishes with a massive roll-out in Portland last Friday.
It was a carnival like atmosphere on the streets of Port Antonio when super seller agent, Paul “Bigga” Young, and a team from Izizz hit the streets in a massive promotion.
The Izizzi marketing team, decked out in face masks, branded T-shirts, and caps, walked the streets of Port Antonio before moving into the community of Nonesuch, sharing details of its five wagering games.
A shoemaker at the Musgrave Market in Port Antonio, Arnold Hill, told the Jamaica Observer that since the emergence of the Izizzi lottery game, he has won more than $70,000.
According to Hill, winning at Izizzi is no hard thing.
“Mi nuh know if a luck or a just my time, but mi just a win straight so. Mi gamble only di quickie game and sometime mi buy five different numbers in one draw, “said Hill.
“A nuh everyday mi gamble, but when mi really need a money mi go try mi luck and it always work. Dis game easier than di one weh mi used to play before. A nuh likkle $5,000 mi win inna quickie and a nuh mi alone a win, cause mi know one man name ‘Reds’ weh use $20 and win one hundred and twenty thousand dollar in a di foreplay (4 play) game,” he added.
The Izizzi team, Portland Chapter, spent the better part of five hours walking throughout several areas of the town, while handing out gaming vouchers, branded shirts, caps, and face mask, and engaging residents who are unfamiliar with the five games.
“This Izizzi product has real potential,” Young told the Observer.
“There are times when monopoly can be a very bad thing, but with this new gaming and betting company, people now have a choice as to where to do their wagering. And that is why competition is always a good thing. It offers flexibility in the marketplace and provides the gambling public with options to play. I operate six Izizzi shops and I’m on the verge of completing a seventh. People are starting to understand the games, and they are also winning.
“People are naturally pleased with our promotions and we also took time out to provide them with a little token. Yes, Izizzi is in the business of making money, but in the same breath, it is important for us to give back to the people who support the business. The people were very receptive towards us and we expect sales to improve significantly going forward in terms of wagering,” added Young.
He pointed out that the games are drawn six times per day with the exception of quickie which has 300 draws per day and is played every four minutes, while luck day lotto is played once per day.
“Anyone can win up to $10 million per day on those games depending on how they wager. But the high-point of this Izizzi game is the fireball, which allows you to increase your winnings significantly. If a person buys a four-play number, which is any four numbers from zero to nine, for let’s say $20 straight in the exact order and fireballs it for $20. Once that number is called in the exact order, that person can win $300,000 from just the fireball alone. So as everyone keeps saying it’s easy with Izizzi,” declared Young.
