Vows: First Love Never Dies

A schoolgirl’s crush that evolved into an 11-year romance culminated in an exchange of wedding vows on Saturday, March 20, 2021 on the lawns of City View Hotel & Restaurant.

“Our decade-long love story commenced after a chance encounter while we were in grade 10 at Oberlin High School,” shared Sashana Watson-Clarke with Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). “Call it love at first sight, but we’ve not left each other’s side since that moment! Odane Clarke has brought tons of joy and happiness to my life and I wouldn’t trade him for anything.”

Feelings proved mutual as Odane brought along an engagement ring to Sashana’s birthday celebration held on September 21, 2019, at the Spanish Court Hotel. Her response in the affirmative would lead to a walk up the aisle on the arm of dad Shendon Watson to the strains of Calum Scott’s You Are The Reason.

Her chosen gown, an ivory mermaid LuxBrides JA custom-designed gown with skin-toned illusion long sleeves and heavy beadings of pearls and sequin details throughout interspersed with gorgeous lace appliqués and a tulle train, made her entrance a memorable one.

Reverend Nevroy Francis presided over the affair, which included a sand ceremony.

Immediately after, there was the unveiling and cutting of the two-tiered fruitcake by anchie/@sanchies_pastries_1.

The newly-weds honeymooned at Royalton Blue Waters Resort & Spa.

The couple seal their vows with a kiss.
