UPDATE: Cop injured, wife killed in Clarendon crash
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Two people, including the wife of a policeman, were killed in a fatal motor vehicle crash along the Osbourne Store main road, Four Paths in Clarendon about 1:20 pm today, Tuesday, April 26.
The deceased have been identified as Heather Grant and a foreign national identified as Nigel Ambersley. Grant is the wife of a police sergeant who was also critically injured in the crash. The Corporate Communication Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force confirmed the deaths.
Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions, one allegedly to the airport, when the incident occurred.

Five people were rushed to hospital where two of them were pronounced dead and three others admitted in serious condition. The crash happened in the vicinity of the Petcom Service Station.
