Shericka Jackson leads women’s 100m qualifiers
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Olympic medallist Shericka Jackson led the finalists for the women’s 100m on Saturday’s second JAAA/SDF Jubilee meet at the National Stadium after she won her heat in 11.37 seconds (-2/7m/s).
Jackson was not pushed in her race and easily beat Remona Burchell of Sprintec who also qualified with 11.58 seconds and Christania Williams who ran 11.62 seconds in only her second race of the season.
Shockoria Wallace of MVP- 11.72 seconds (-3.0m/s), Anthonique Strachan- 11.81 seconds (-2.5m/s), Mickaell Moodie- 11.84 seconds (-2.7m/s), Jodean Williams of Racers TC- 11.90 seconds (-2.5m/) and Tamari Davis- 11.91 seconds (-3.0m/s) all advanced.
