Heather Laine For Live United

Whether it was the flash of the camera capturing the latest offerings from local fashion house Heather Laine, or the fab ensembles that adorned some of Jamaica’s most prominent women, the fashion show segment — moderated by former model and Essence cover star Althea Laing — certainly kept the entertainment buzz alive at Sunday’s Live United For Mom brunch.

Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) picks up from Page 2, where our shutterbug — on duty inside the Grand Jamaica Suite Ballroom of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel — was delighted to snap mums, mother figures, and their daughters sashaying down the runway in pieces from Heather Laine’s The Formal Collection. The glitzy collection brought down the curtain on the event as metallics and sequins collided on the runway for some Mother’s Day razzle-dazzle. “The collection was inspired by the reopening of the social scene. The clothes are designed to make people look and feel fabulous while going out in the evenings,” shared Heather Laine co-principal Zoe Summers.

TSF shares some of the rave-worthy looks.
