Sails were gathered, anchor dropped and some 100 mums and family members, Sagicor clients, team members and stakeholders readied to disembark at the Port Royal Cruise Pier. Ashore, on full alert stood the From Thought to Finish crew who escorted guests to the pier’s event space which was beautifully decorated in vibrant hues of blue and complemented with rustic elements per the naval theme.

Perfectly chilled mimosas were offered as well as delectable charcuterie treats. A decorative pallet backdrop afforded some attendees the opportunity to immortalise the moment whilst others lounged and enjoyed the scenic views of the pier, their faces caressed by a gentle mid-morning breeze.

The musical styling of the Seasons Bandz with the dulcet vocals of Lisa Davis further raised the relaxation quotient.

Later, guests took their seats and commenced a plated five-course affair that would underscore the culinary prowess of Chef Jacqui Tyson.

The day ended with mums receiving gifts of appreciation.
