Pilgrim Orchestra basks in God’s love
Emerging dancehall act Pilgrim Orchestra hopes that his most recent song, God is Love, will catapult to international platforms.
“I’m hoping that the song will be featured in a movie or a video game anytime in the near future,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
Co-produced by Romeich Entertainment and Orchestra Entertainment, the track was released on April 22.
Pilgrim Orchestra, whose given name is Onaje Chevers, hails from the parish of St James. According to him, he has had an interest in music his whole life. However, it wasn’t until the onslaught of the novel coronavirus pandemic in March 2020 that he decided to pursue it professionally.
Since the release of God is Love, he says the reception has been promising.
“The reaction to my latest release has been priceless, nothing but positive feedback,” he said.
The singjay further said that Romeich Major, principal of Romeich Entertainment, played a huge role in the execution of the project.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity granted by Romeich Entertainment. He provided the platform for me to showcase my talent. Respect goes a long way. Who knows there might be an official contract on the way. Let’s see,” he said.
His other tracks include Mental Breakdown, Don’t Stress About It, and Catfish.
