Howard Cooke Primary hunt first win in St James U-13 football
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Four schools, including former champions Howard Cooke Primary, will be seeking their first win of the season when the St James Football Association Under-13 competition continues with today’s double-header at Corinaldi Avenue Primary, starting at 10:00 am.
Howard Cooke will play St James Prep in the first game, followed by Barrett Town Primary and Maldon Primary, set to start at 11:30 am.
None of the teams playing today has managed a goal in the competition so far. Howard Cooke were beaten 0-3 by Green Pond Primary last week and will face a St James Prep team coming off a 0-4 beating at the hands of Barracks Road Primary.
Barrett Town were beaten 0-6 by Flankers Primary last week while Maldon had lost 0-3 to Lethe All-Age.
Five schools have won their first two games so far. They are Flankers Primary in Zone A, Chetwood Primary in Zone B, Barracks Road Primary in Zone C, and Corinaldi Avenue Primary and Catherine Hall Primary in Zone D.
