Today’s Horoscope – May 18

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Wednesday, May 18, 2022. There’s a mixture of energy in the air today that might make the pace feel stop-and-go. As inspiration is strong today, the timing is ripe for brainstorming ideas or coming up with creative solutions for projects that are already in the works. At the same time, anxiety and moodiness could be an issue. If we’re not at 100 per cent, the cosmic weather of the day encourages us to slow down and anchor ourselves through activities like taking a steam or relaxing bath, employing stress-relieving breathing techniques, or listening to our bodies and getting extra rest.

ARIES: (March 21 to April 19)

Before taking on another project, take a moment to consider if it’s something you really have the energy or passion for right now. It’s OK if you don’t.

TAURUS: (April 20 to May 20)

A show of kindness or selflessness toward someone might be more rewarding than you realise. What you put out will come back to you.

GEMINI: (May 21 to June 20)

You’re undergoing a personal or professional rebranding. It’s time to align yourself with people who represent where you want to be.

CANCER: (June 21 to July 22)

Don’t listen to the pessimists or the cynics today. Listen to your heart and take a leap of faith.

LEO: (July 23 to Aug 22)

If you’re ready to open your heart to someone, try not to overthink it. Do listen to your intuition, though. Take extra care with a financial matter.

VIRGO: (Aug 23 to Sept 22)

It could be a nice and romantic evening for you and your partner. If you’re single and looking for love, someone might be ready to sweep you off your feet.

LIBRA: (Sept 23 to Oct 22)

You have lots of work to complete. Hire out some of your chores or ask others for help.

SCORPIO: (Oct 23 to Nov 21)

Don’t get stuck in your head about dating. Ask someone out. The same goes for executing a creative project. Try not to stress over it.

SAGITTARIUS: (Nov 22 to Dec 21)

You might be feeling the itch to shop, but saving money is the better option for today. Meanwhile, don’t let a family member’s bad behaviour get under your skin.

CAPRICORN: (Dec 22 to Jan 19)

You’re moved to share something that’s on your mind. Employing empathy, creativity or humour helps you get your message through.

AQUARIUS: (Jan. 20 to Feb 18)

Consider backing a kick-starter or putting some funds toward a good cause. A little goodwill goes a long way.

PISCES: (Feb 19 to March 20)

You don’t need to conform or try to fit in if you want to succeed. You just need to be yourself.

OR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You’re romantic and alluring. You capture people’s hearts and attention, however, it might take others a great deal of effort to capture yours. You prize your freedom and only commit to people or tasks that keep you on your toes. You have a creative flair and a zest for life. When you believe deeply enough in a goal or mission, you can move mountains when it comes to achieving it. Although you’re dreamy and imaginative, you’re also a realist. Your down-to-earth attitude keeps you grounded. This year, if you go looking for fulfillment there’s a strong chance you’ll find it.

Birthdate of: Tina Fey, actress/producer; Chow Yun-fat, actor/singer; Jack Johnson, singer-songwriter.
