Over $330k lost in housebreaking incident, man charged
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Over $200,000, documents, and a safe valued at $130,000 were stolen in an incident in Allman Town, Kingston 4 on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
The police have arrested the suspect, who they have identified as 28-year-old Sajae Morgan of Torrington Park, Kingston 5. Morgan is charged with house breaking and larceny.
According to police reports, about 6:30 pm, the complainant left home and upon his return, it was observed that his door was unlocked and the items stolen.
The police were alerted and Morgan was arrested the same day, after his motor car was searched and the stolen items found in his possession.
He was subsequently charged on Friday, June 3 and is scheduled to appear before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Friday, June 10.
