Is nature your thing, but roughing it not so much? Page 2 has you covered.

Enter: Glamping, or luxe camping. Whatever you call it, camping inside luxe tents is a trend that has officially gone global. And the craze has hit The Rock, thanks to the mother-daughter duo of Karen and Khloé Clarke.

On June 10, the two alighted in Portie at Frenchman’s Cove Resort for The Rock’s first premium glamping experience CampLuxe. The weekend — which saw guests ‘roughing’ it on a campsite set amidst lush gardens and mere steps away from the beach — has officially rewritten the rules on outdoor adventures.

Here’s a peek into the three-day event, plus more to come in this Sunday’s Style Observer.

Hearts AflameA night-time stroll on the beach was the perfect way for Cornerstone.design Ltd Managing Director Christopher Whyms-Stone and his wife, National Commercial Bank Assistant General Manager Nicola Whyms-Stone to wrap up an eventful Saturday.
Luxe LadiesOne down, two to go! At the tail end of day one, CampLuxe co-conceptualisers Karen (centre) and Khloé (right) Clarke joined Frenchman’s Cove General Manager Angella Bolton-Trowers to celebrate a seamless start to the weekend.
Under The InfluenceIt’s always a vibe when influencers (from left) Kevaun Merchant, Tanaania Tracey, Chad Luchey, Kaci Fennell, and Rohan “Quite Perry” Perry link up.
We Came To Glamp!Christopher Harper was on hand to transport the eager group of (from left) YouTuber Chad Luchey; content creator Kevaun Merchant; and YouTuber and comedian Rohan “Quite Perry” Perry to the campsite.
New HeightsExecutive director of the Tourism Enhancement Fund Dr Carey Wallace and his fiancée, Great Huts Managing Partner Vivene Levison, joined the festivities on Sunday for brunch at The Cannon Cliff.
