LHHA cast joins Spice on set for the return of Magnum ‘Spice It Up’
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The cast of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta (LHHA) joined their fellow co-cast mate and dancehall star, Spice, for the inaugural episode of season four of Magnum’s ‘Spice-It-Up’ .
According to Spice, she was elated to have her LHHA cast mates, who she described as her ‘besties’ on set for the start of the show’s new season.
“I was so excited to have my girls from the Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta crew on my show. I know the episode would be spicy,” Spice said.
“Also, I just wanna say big up to Magnum Tonic Wine and the Jussbuss Crew again for allowing me to execute my vision and share this exclusive episode with my besties. Me know dem ago love this,” she added.
While not giving too much insight about the upcoming episodes, Spice said fans can expect to see the likes of reality stars Karlie Redd, Dr Meda, Shekinah, and Eve, making guest appearances.
Sharing a preview of next week’s episode, Spice said that viewers will hear the men’s side of a conversation about ‘Relationship Do’s and Don’ts’.
According to Spice, relationships are not one sided and neither should the conversations she facilitates on them. She noted that having a male perspective will help to bring balance to the discussions.
“The viewers will have to tune in next week to see what the men have to say. Though I’m a female host, it’s not all about what we women have to say, involving the men will bring a great balance to the discussion,” she remarked.
She also shared that the show’s latest season will explore topics like “Dancehall Fetishes”, “Artiste vs Media” and a closer look at “Beyond the Artiste”.
Regional Marketing Manager for Magnum, Kamal Powell, noted that he was happy to celebrate yet another new season with the show.
“Magnum ‘Spice-It-Up’ was a brilliant idea from inception and I am just happy to see that we are able to take the show to new heights every year,” said Powell.
“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, the team is extremely happy with where we are now. Having the Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta crew on was a pleasure and we anticipate that the episode will do well,” he added.
Spice It Up’ season four kicked off on Wednesday July 6, 2022.
