Queen Danger moves to music
More popularly known as Dancehall Queen Danger who began her reign in 2014 to follow in the footsteps of her sister, Dancehall Queen TallUp, this dancer and entertainment personality is making her way into the world of music as a recording artiste.
While she has always had a passion for dancing, Queen Danger expressed that she has always been drawn to the musical side of entertainment and is today making her fans know she is poised and ready to share her musical side.
For her first release Queen Danger has dropped Sexy Danger on the Bandulu rhythm courtesy of Levels To Life Production.
“I got booked to dance in Gage’s video for his track Melanin, which is also on the Bandulu rhythm and while dancing, it struck me that I would love to record a track on the beat so I reached out to the producer, who immediately set up the session. I got help from Teejay to start the song, after which the producer sent me to his engineer Avikon and writer, Kiko Di Hype 1, who walked me through the session and helped me complete the song and deliver a masterpiece. At the end of the session, I was blown away by the single and how deep it represents me and who I am: sexy, confident, dominant and fierce but feminine and delicate.”
Queen Danger noted that the transition from dancing to music is one of the biggest decisions she has ever made in her life.
“I feel that the time is now because I have been on the scene for a long time, working around artistes, and I have acquired enough knowledge and courage to step out on my own. I am excited about this venture because I can now put my personality into my music and not just my dance and show my fans how versatile I am,” she said.
“My sister has always been my biggest supporter and a major influence in my life. While growing up, I would always aspire to be bold and strong like her and I can say her influence definitely shows in both my dance and my music. My wish is that we will one day dominate the music scene as we do the dance scene because we have an energy that is naturally synchronised,” she added.
While Queen Danger continues to promote her new single, she shared that she has more music to be released with Levels To Life Productions, among other producers as well as a live performance set for this summer.
