FLASHBACK: Janieve Russell
Janieve Russell, captured here competing for her alma mater Holmwood Technical High School, has emerged as one of Jamaica’s top performers in the women’s 400m hurdles at the senior level.
But before that, Russell won medals at international junior meets, competing in the flat 400m and 4x400m relays.
She also has to her credit a 400m hurdles gold medal competing as a senior athlete at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Russell is now looking to add to her accolades at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA.
