Google Wallet replaces Pay

Google Wallet will replace the old Google Pay app and your physical wallet to hold your credit and debit cards, event tickets, flight boarding passes, gift/loyalty cards, and vaccination records.

A Google representative confirmed that the company “started rolling out the Wallet to Android users in 39 countries”, and is expected to reach all Google Pay users over the coming days.

To find out if you need to upgrade go to Google Play Services on your phone and follow the current Google Pay link.
