Today’s Horoscope – August 9

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Honesty and integrity are the main keys in dealing with any drama that might land on our doorstep today. Relationships can be contentious now. As such, we’ll need to be careful of letting insecurity and nastiness influence our actions. Rather than playing emotional mind games or stooping down to someone else’s level, today provides us the opportunity to take a different route and responsibly handle any concerns that we may have. In some cases, we may need to employ healthy boundaries or take a firm stance in calling out mistreatment or shady behaviour.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19) — There are some things better left off of social media or out of the public eye. Beware of oversharing.

TAURUS (April 20 to May 20) — It’s not up to you to have all the answers, or 100% certainty about the future. Your job is to remain curious and keep learning as you go.

GEMINI (May 21 to June 20) — Continue embracing your unique qualities. Don’t pressure yourself to be what someone else wants.

CANCER (June 21 to July 22) — You might need to distance yourself from someone who’s a little too negative or overbearing.

LEO (July 23 to Aug 22) — Is it time to put a project on the chopping block, or improve your daily routine so that you can have more peace of mind? Switch some things up.

VIRGO (Aug 23 to Sept 22) — Be mindful of insisting that everyone does things your way. There may be something that you can learn from others.

LIBRA (Sept 23 to Oct 22) — Don’t allow fear or insecurity to get in the way of your success today. If you’re feeling stressed, do you need to adopt a better approach for dealing with it?

SCORPIO (Oct 23 to Nov 21) — If something’s bothering you, it’s best to come right out and say it so that you can clear the air. Nip the situation in the bud before it becomes an issue.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 to Dec 21) — Take care that you’re not spending beyond your means today. If you’re not purchasing essentials, save your cash.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 to Jan 19) — Are you being a little too hard on someone right now? Extend some understanding and grace.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 to Feb 18) — Taking care of your well-being should be your top priority today. Everything else can wait.

PISCES (Feb 19 to March 20) — Try not to obsess over your goals today. Instead, consider the ways you can enjoy where you are right now. Start by doing something fun.

FOR TODAY’S BIRTHDAY

You’re charming and magnetic. People are instantly drawn to you. You possess a great deal of emotional depth and a tender soul, although you don’t always like to reveal how deeply caring you are. When it comes to what you value, you cannot be swayed or influenced by others. What is yours, is yours, and you’ll protect what you love. You’re successful, because you don’t back down the moment things get rough. In fact, you love a challenge. This year, it’s all about learning how to do things the easy way, rather than making things harder than necessary.

Birthdate of: Anna Kendrick, actress; Gillian Anderson, actress; Melanie Griffith, actress/film producer.
