Gas prices up $1.30, $0.25, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, August 18, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87-octane gasoline will be sold for $210.66 per litre after an increase of $1.30 while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $214.64 per litre, up by $0.25.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $229.26 per litre after an increase of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $236.25 per litre also up by $4.50.
Kerosene increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $207.80 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $65.11 per litre down by $0.07 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.06 per litre after an increase of $0.88.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
