10 ways to eat pumpkin

Pumpkin is a highly nutritious fruit, rich in vitamins and minerals, and low in calories. However, some people are not fond of consuming the fruit in its common steamed or boiled form for different reasons including the texture.

But there are many other ways to eat pumpkin, meaning people who don’t enjoy ‘so-so’ pumpkin in its traditional forms have no need to miss out on this wonder fruit.

OBSERVER ONLINE has compiled a list of 10 alternative ways to eat a pumpkin below, along with their recipes. Try them at home.

Roasted Pumpkin

This savory side dish is easily prepared through a double baking method after being coated with oil and various spices, to get that roasted texture. Check out the recipe.

Pumpkin Bread

This is a delightful moist bread baked from a mixture of simple ingredients (eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, flour, nutmeg, salt etc..), mixed with pumpkin pureé. This bread is sometimes topped with a maple glazed frosting. Learn to make it here.

Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Cheesecake

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

Pumpkin Punch
