A new name has joined the ranks of listed companies on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Though not a new listing, the new name marks the rebranding of SSL Venture Capital to MFS Capital Partners Limited, following the latter’s acquisition of majority shares back in May.
With the insertion of the new strip, the JSE also welcomed fresh faces to its trading floor as MFS Capital Partners Director Anika Jengelley outlined the company’s new vision and Chief Executive Officer Dino Hinds shared the company’s journey from acquisiton to listing. JSE Managing Director Marlene Street Forrest played the perfect host, welcoming new and seasoned associates to the relisting ceremony and, as is customary, offered remarks on the performance of the index.
