Francis Keane’s Fashion Legacy

Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) continues the celebration of trailblazer and pioneer in the fashion industry, Jamaican Olga Francis Keane, by spotlighting some of the standout looks from the fashion show presented at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Francis Keane’s signature style was cutwork embroidery, one of the most difficult skills for a seamstress to master. Her couture cutwork embroidery involved freestyle sketching unique patterns directly onto fabric.

The edit showcased at the tribute featured wedding gowns, cocktail dresses, jackets and of course cutwork embroidery.

TSF shares a few looks. For more information re the Dudley & Olga Francis Keane Fashion Foundation
