Gospel stars for Dec concert
INSPIRED by the biblical story of the Samaritan woman whose life changed after she met Jesus at the well, promoters of ‘The Well Encounter’ are hoping to positively influence lives through fellowship and worship.
The Well Encounter is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 10 at the National Stadium. Its launch took place on Thursday night at Liguanea Club in New Kingston.
Ingrid Larmond of Kingdom Culture is behind the inaugural staging of The Well Encounter.
“Behind The Well Encounter is Kingdom Culture and kingdom is influencing our culture, so we will influence Jamaica’s culture with kingdom principles through arts and entertainment,” Miss Larmond shared in an interview with the Jamaica Observer.
“Patrons can expect to have an amazing time. We watch a lot of videos from our local and international gospel music ministers and it’s an opportunity for us to be together with them as they lead us in worship. Expect to have an amazing time in the presence of the Lord,” she added.
Leading the charge in spiritual worship at The Well Encounter are Marverick City’s Grammy-nominated gospel sensations Naomi Raine and Chandler Moore, as well as Kevin Downswell, Minister Carlene Davis, Rondell Positive, and Rhoda Isabella.
“Expect to experience an encounter with God like never before. Expect to be changed at the end of The Well Encounter,” expressed Larmond.
