Another opportunity for Babylike in Titania Trophy

Three successive race days over the Heroes’ Day weekend begin tomorrow (Saturday 15, 2022) at Caymanas Park with the Titania Trophy feature, a native-bred three-year-old (non-winners of two) for fillies only at 5 ½ furlongs (1,100m). Thirteen runners have been nominated to participate for a total purse of $1.02 million.

Below is the analysis of each runner.

1. RAMBLING ROSE: (3 b f by Bern Identity – Ruby Rose) – A winner on June 18 over five furlongs round, Rambling Rose races tomorrow with the blinkers taken off. Rambling Rose is still getting accustomed to non-two, therefore she needs more time.

2. AAVA JAELYN: (3 ch f by Tapilu – Boogywoogyprincess) – Has no chance of winning.

3. THIRYONEKISSES: (3 b f by Savoy Stomp – Shahar) – Ran a brave race when finishing second to A Gift From Ben over six furlongs (1,200m) on October 1. Thirtyonekisses should appreciate this reduction in journey and has the best chance in her career of coming out a winner.

4. WOWTASTIC: (3 b f by Perfect Curlin – Sarah Barracuda) – Was expected to do much better than her fifth-place finish behind Silent Mission on September 19. Wowtastic is still at home against these with the reduction in the journey working in her favour.

5. BERLINO’S CHOICE: (3 ch f by Berlino’s Tiger – Mete-Orite) – Unplaced on last, Berlino’s Choice is not going to be a factor when the gates open on Saturday.

6. ALEXA’S SECRET: (3 ch f by Sensational Slam – Alexa’s Song) – Finished a close second to Silent Mission over six furlongs on September 19. That was Alexa’s Secret’s second run off the break and now fitter, she is difficult to bet against.

7. FLY MESSENGER FLY: (3 ch f by Northern Giant – Preach Preacher) – The veteran in this line-up with 24 starts in her career thus far. Ran a creditable third behind A Gift From Ben and Thirtyonekisses over six furlongs. The reduction in journey doesn’t bode well for Fly Messenger Fly in this one.

8. RUPUNZEL: (3 b f by Savoy Stomp – Miss Pasion) – Cannot be recommended for a winning run.

9. RUNWAY ICON: (3 rn f by Deputy Glitters – Runaway Silver) – Has no form to entice even a place wager.

10. BABYLIKE: (3 dark b f by Savoy Stomp – Ladylike) – Has not lived up to expectations. Babylike finished down the track in her last two starts but is expected to do much better here especially after moving sweetly at morning exercise. Time is running out for Babylike.

11. FEARLESS FIRE: (3 ch f by Fearless Vision – Morebulletstofire) – Just entering the non-winners of two fray, as such Fearless Fire is going to need time.

12. MARKET PLACE: (3 b f by Market Rally – Miss Emily) – This filly has been blowing hot and cold since winning on debut. Market Place is a capable runner who should make her presence felt throughout this event but will have to be satisfied with a place in the top four.

13. TRADITIONAL LADY: (3 b f by Traditional – Always In The Mood) – A disqualified winner on September 24 when beating Don Vincenzo over a mile. Traditional Lady is therefore a maiden racing in non-winners of two, making a winning run quite difficult.
