Thank you, Nurse Robinson-Tee
Dear Editor,
Please permit me to pay tribute to an outstanding mental health practitioner at the Spalding Mental Health Clinic in Clarendon, Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee.
Recently, Nurse Robinson-Tee ended her distinquished career as a mental health officer with the Clarendon Health Department. As a mental heath patient for over 20 years I have benefited from the work and love of Nurse Robinson-Tee and she represented the best that the mental health sector had to offer. She was caring, accommodating, and very sensitive to all of us as mental health patients at Spalding Mental Health Clinic. She had a penchant for working long hours and oftentimes she was the first person at work and the last person to leave.
On behalf of the community of the mentally ill, particularly those of us at Spalding Mental Health Clinic, I want to publicly thank Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee for her many years of outstanding service to mental health and psychiatric care in Jamaica, and I wish her continued success in her new endeavours.
We will greatly miss her, but we take comfort in the positive impact she has had on our lives. Thank you, Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee.
