Home & Things for Brands You Know And Can Trust!

Day 5 of the Jamaica Observer’s Design Week 2022 activities took place on Monday, October 24 at Home & Things located on 17 Old Hope Road, where strict COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Customers were seen moving around the showroom inquiring about tiles, bathroom fixtures and plumbing supplies, among other things.

The trained staff are there to inform, guide and ensure that you’re buying the best items for your budgets and project. There is no senseless upsell here, and browsing is a joy.

Marketing Manager Trudy Francis kicked things off by welcoming the Jamaica Observer and guests to the showroom prior to introducing the company’s new product offerings. Human Resources Manager Janice Bolton-Anderson then shared the rigorous product knowledge and customer experience training that employees undergo, which results in an elevated shopping experience.

Sales representative and tile specialist Dwayne Reynolds led a comprehensive tour of the tile department showcasing the different varieties of Grade A Porcelain tiles brought in from China, Spain and Brazil. Reynolds also underscored the importance of when buying tiles, informing your sales reps where they’ll be used.

Sales representative Nadisha James showed off the impressive bathroom accessories, including shower panels, pedestal basins and “one-piece” (easier to install and more compact) toilets. There were also kitchen sinks and bathroom vanities.

Whether you’re planning a massive renovation, sprucing up your home office or remodelling a bathroom, head to Home & Things for “brands you know, brands you can trust”.

#designweekja2022 is made possible with the support of the National Housing Trust, ScotiaBank, ARC Manufacturing Limited, and H&L Rapid True Value.
