William Knibb High student charged with fatal stabbing of schoolmate, pleads guilty to manslaughter
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – The William Knibb High School student charged with the fatal stabbing of his schoolmate, Khamal Hall, pleaded guilty to manslaughter when he appeared before High Court Judge Andrea Thomas, in the Trelawny Circuit Court on Monday.
Hall was fatally stabbed on Monday, March 21, during an altercation with the accused over a ring.
Hall, who was of a Deeside, Trelawny, address, was the goalkeeper of the school’s football team that competed in last season’s daCosta Cup competition.
The accused was charged after being questioned by detectives in the presence of his attorneys-at-law.
He is represented by attorney-at-law Marissa Dalrymple Philbert.
His bail was revoked until Thursday, December 1, when he is scheduled to reappear in court for sentencing.
