Triple spin from Stick Figure
American reggae band Stick Figure occupies three of the top-10 positions on this week’s Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
The California act, led by Scott Woodruff, is at number four with Wisdom which slips from three last week. The 14-track set opened at number one in September.
Wisdom, which features collaborations with Collie Buddz, Slightly Stoopid and Barrington Levy, had first-week sales of 9,672.
Stick Figure’s 2019 chart-topper, World on Fire, is at number seven. The 15-track set debuted at number one with 10,000 units in sales
Set in Stone, which topped the chart in 2015, is number eight this week.
Bob Marley and The Wailers clock 147 non-consecutive weeks in the number one spot with Legend, while Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy is number two.
Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul inches up to number three, Greatest Hits by UB40 is number five, and Dutty Rock, also by Sean Paul, is six.
Gold by Bob Marley and The Wailers re-enters at number nine while Gifted by Koffee falls to 10.
On Billboard‘s Top Triller Global chart, Blessed by KiDi and Mavado spends a second week at number one.
Over to the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart, Count on Me (remix) by Ammoye is number one.
Hot 104.1 FM in Cayman Islands reports that the Willy Chin reggae remix of Rihanna’s Lift Me Up is the most requested song. Foot by Squash is number two, Dinero by Lila Ike is three, Speak in Tongues by John Legend and Jada Kingdom is four, and Bottles by Bunji Garlin is five.
