NYE Sultry Dark Brown Smokey Eye
Stoddart is all glammed up for New Year's. (COSMOTEE.COM)

NYE Sultry Dark Brown Smokey Eye

New Year’s Eve is all about glitter and shimmer for the eyes. Pageant Boss CEO Nicole Stoddart shows you how.

Apply an eyeshadow base to prevent creasing of your eyeshadow.

1. Apply dark brown eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eyelid and blend towards the inner corner.

2. Add a light brown colour in the crease of the lids and blend in circular motion to transition.

3. Use a flat brush to apply bronze or gold glitter to your eyelids and blend.

4. Use a liquid eyeliner and then add your favourite lashes.

Face preparation for NYE

If you’re like me, you’ll love the New Year’s Eve countdown at midnight. So here are some tips to keep your make-up on all night.

1. Moisturise and use a matte primer so that make-up lasts all night. Leave on face for 2-5 minutes before applying foundation.

2. Apply foundation, then concealer, then contour.

3. Set all the areas you apply a cream or liquid with a powder. Loose powders are very good for oil control and sweat.

4. Blush cheeks and highlight.

5. “Skin” Nice & Moist Lipgloss

6. Apply setting spray and you’re ready for the night festivities.
