NBA star Tristan Thompson’s mother dies suddenly from cardiac arrest – reports
Canadian-American professional basketball player Tristan Thompson’s mother, Andrea Thompson, died suddenly from a heart attack at home in Toronto on Friday, according to reports.
TMZ reported that Andrea Thompson, who is originally from Jamaica, was rushed to a local hospital where medics tried to resuscitate her to no avail.
According to Page Six, the NBA star and ex, Khloe Kardashian, took a private jet from Los Angeles to Toronto to be with his family during this time.
Thompson frequently posted pictures with his mother, and even shared a snap of Andrea with his 4-year-old daughter, True, whom he shares with Khloe.
Back in 2020, Thompson shared a sweet message honouring his mother on Mother’s Day along with a video of Andrea gushing about her son.
Thompson often spoke highly of his mother and they had a close relationship.
He is yet to publicly comment on his mother’s passing.
